Individual Therapy

In-Person in Los Angeles | Virtual for all of California

Everything you need to conquer life’s challenges exists within you already, because each one of us is born with an infinite capacity for self-healing and growth. Being human, we are designed as individuals to thrive within the intimate bonds of relationships. In a perfect society, our families and communities would never be short of safe environments flush with the resources, tools, and skills necessary for fostering security, passion, and growth. The problem is, as you know, we don’t live in a perfect society, because humans are innately imperfect.

My approach is designed to help you accept your beautifully flawed, imperfect self while mastering your inborn capability to change, grow, and heal. In our work together, you’ll uncover unhelpful patterns, transform the way you relate to yourself and others, and build the tools you need for lasting change. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, or that frustrating feeling of being stuck, you’ll leave each session not just with insight but with the confidence and practical strategies to move forward.

Individual therapy takes place once a week for 50 minutes—either in-person at my office in Silverlake or via a secure video call (telehealth) from a location of your choosing. Please note: to receive telehealth services, you must be physically located in California, login from home or another private area, and remain there for the duration of the session.

Therapy for ADHD

I know ADHD from the inside out, as both a clinician and someone who lives it. As an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider, I help my clients refine their executive skills, boost self-esteem, regulate those deeply-felt emotions, and improve relationships (or finally leave a toxic one). In our work together, you’ll find a validating, judgment-free space to let your beautiful, bold, unapologetic self shine!

ADHD is so much more than struggling to sustain focus & attention while feeling restless & exhausted at the same time

It looks like having trouble making decisions, getting places on time, staying organized, avoiding new or boring tasks, constantly worrying, social anxiety, overeating or forgetting to eat, insomnia, and always feeling behind no matter how much effort you put in.

You might also notice:

  • Missing appointments or deadlines or not turning in homework

  • Starting projects with excitement and then suddenly losing interest and abandoning them

  • Disorganization & procrastination

  • Depression + anxiety + mood swings

  • Time blindness (it’s been how long?!)

  • Losing/misplacing things

  • Perfectionism

  • Forgetting some things instantly and remembering random sh*t forever

  • Zoning out in conversations

  • Enhanced pattern recognition

  • All-or-nothing thinking, overthinking, acting without thinking

  • Feeling & noticing EVERYTHING

  • Hypersensitivity to sensory input (why is everything SO bright/loud/smelly/scratchy?!)

  • Interrupting in conversations and spontaneous unfiltered comments

  • Low frustration tolerance

  • Small mistakes that don’t match your actual ability or being accused of “not trying

  • And, of course, difficulty focusing or sustaining attention when you’re not interested followed by fatigue and brain fog

If this all feels familiar to you or your teen, you’re in the right place. ADHD isn’t about laziness or a lack of willpower. It’s about having a totally normal brain that’s just wired a bit differently and you’re struggling to function in a system that wasn’t built for you. In fact, the system primarily works against your brain.

AND, there is hope! With the proper support, resources and tools, everyday life can feel less like an uphill climb and more like a walk in the park.

If you or your teen would like to finally feel understood, have an authentic sense of self, and learn to cope with all of ADHD’s symptoms to function as the fully-capable human that you are—then click the button below to request a free consultation!
